  Climate
Fresno County's climate is generally mild and Mediterranean... Warm summers and cool winters are the norm. The sun shines on average 83% of the time (303 days a year), and the county receives an average rainfall of 10.95 inches and an average snowfall of .10 inches. Fresno County covers a lot of ground, with elevation ranging from 14,000 foot Sierra Nevada peaks to the valley floor., which is just 100 feet above sea level at it's deepest point providing a full range of climate conditions.
